BORNEO INSIGHTS II

“Returning to its roost, a Hardwicke’s Wooly Bat (Kerivoula hardwickii) approaches a pitcher of Nepenthes hemsleyana. Unlike most pitcher plants which are insectivorous, this species has a unique relationship with the bat, providing shelter in return for nutrients in the form of droppings.”
